LONDON (AP) -- The next James Bond film, featuring Pierce Brosnan in his fourth appearance as the agent 007, will be called Die Another Day, the producers announced Tuesday.

The movie also will star Halle Berry as the latest Bond girl and Dame Judi Dench reprising her role as M.

British actor Toby Stephens will play the bad guy, while comic veteran John Cleese will make another appearance as gadget expert Q.

The 20th Bond adventure is being shot in locations that include Hawaii, Iceland, Spain and Cornwall, England.

The producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, said: Die Another Day carries on the tradition of the Ian Fleming stories.

This was to have been Brosnan's last outing as the suave secret agent, but the 48-year-old star recently announced that he wanted to extend his contract for another film.

DIE ANOTHER DAY is the twentieth installment of the most successful film franchise in cinema history. Starring Pierce Brosnan (in his fourth film as James Bond) and Halle Berry, the film will be released in the US and the UK on November 22, 2002. Directed by Lee Tamahori, the script was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. DIE ANOTHER DAY also stars Toby Stephens, Rosamund Pike, Rick Yune, John Cleese and Judi Dench.

The film will be released by MGM Distribution Company in North America and through its international distributor, 20th Century Fox.

Actor Pierce Brosnan has injured his knee while filming the latest James Bond adventure.

The film star, pictured, was recording action scenes by a beach in Cornwall last Friday when the injury occurred.

A movie insider said: "The film features some of the best stunts ever seen in a Bond film and there is always a risk on set."

Reports from America said the 48-year-old actor flew into Los Angeles on Tuesday for surgery.

A statement released by the movie's production company said the injury would put him out of action for more than two weeks.

The latest spy adventure will be the 20th Bond film and is due to be released in November. It has been shrouded in secrecy since filming began at London's Pinewood studios last month.
